The mission of "Sober-Today.Org" is to help the alcoholic still suffering by carrying the message of what living sober is like, and where it can be found in the St. Louis area. We do this through links to Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, and links to books like The Big Book, The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions, and more. In addition to the many other resources that can be found here, we also have listings for more than 750 AA meetings
per week in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area.
We have recently affiliated with SoberPuppy.Org as our "sister-site". Because Sober-Today.Org
has a 100% non-profit website status, we cannot offer recovery items for sale. SoberPuppy.Org accomplishes this and allows us to remain service work oriented. The menu bar contains a link to SoberPuppy.Org. Thank you for understanding.
We hope you find what your looking for here but if you need to talk to someone right now, don't be afraid to pick up the phone and call the number listed below. Someone there can talk to you who truly cares, with no strings attached.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
